2019 ഡിസംബറിൽ തിരുപ്പതി ഐസറിൽ വെച്ചു നടന്ന ഓർണിത്തോളജി കോഴ്‌സിന്റെ വിശേഷങ്ങൾ…

മൈസൂർ ആസ്ഥാനമാക്കി വന്യജീവി സംരക്ഷണവും ഗവേഷണവും നടത്തുന്ന Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF), ഭാരത സർക്കാരിന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള 7 ഐസറുകളിലൊന്നായ Indian Institute of Science Education and Research തിരുപ്പതി, ബംഗളൂരുവിലുള്ള ജീവശാസ്ത്ര ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രമായ National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), കോയമ്പത്തൂർ ആസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷിശാസ്ത്ര പഠന-ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രമായ Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON) എന്നീ സംഘടനകളാണ് കോഴ്സണിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്.

ഓർണിത്തോളജിയിലെ അടിസ്ഥാനതത്വങ്ങൾ 25 ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലായി ചർച്ച ചെയ്ത്, ഒരു ഗവേഷണ ചോദ്യം രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്യുവാൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പ്രാപ്തമാക്കും വിധമായിരുന്നു കോഴ്സിന്റെ ഘടന.
