Happy to visit Choolannur Peafowl Sanctuary along with my Volunteer students of Govt. VHSE Kunnamkulam as part of 3 day Nature camp of Forest Dept. Trekking, Sessions by expert, Food & Accommodation all are excellent.
Feel sad to see Plastc wastes, beverage bottles, disposible plastic bottles, etc. inside the sanctuary. Our team collected the wastes today morning and handed over it to the authorities. There is no restriction for the public to enter the sanctuary from any side, as there are no boundary walls for the sanctuary and also it is free to enter the sanctuary.
