കോൾ ബേർഡേഴ്സ് കളക്ടീവിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ, കേരളത്തിലെ റാംസാർ തണ്ണീർത്തടമായ കോൾനിലങ്ങളിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും മറ്റ് ജൈവവൈവിധ്യങ്ങളെയും ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥയെയും കോർത്തിണക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ‘കാണാപ്പടവുകൾ’ ഫോട്ടോ എക്സിബിഷന്റെ മൂന്നാം പതിപ്പ് തൃശൂർ ലളിതകലാ അക്കാദമി ആർട്ട് ഗാലറിയിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. ഈ പ്രദർശനത്തിലേക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ക്ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു. കോൾപാടങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഏതുതരം ചിത്രങ്ങളും (പക്ഷികൾ, മറ്റു ജീവജാലങ്ങൾ, ഭൂപ്രകൃതി, കൃഷി, മാക്രോ തുടങ്ങിയവ) നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അയക്കാവുന്നതാണ്.
ഇത്തവണ ‘ദേശാടനം’ (Migration) എന്ന ആശയം മുൻനിർത്തിയാണ് എക്സിബിഷൻ ക്യൂറേറ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്.

തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ക്യൂറേറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് പ്രദർശനത്തിനായി പ്രിന്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. തൃശ്ശൂർ ആർട്ട് ഗാലറിയിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രദർശനത്തിന് പുറമെ, ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നതിനനുസരിച്ച് സ്കൂളുകളിലേക്കും മറ്റ് പൊതുപരിപാടികളിലേക്കും ഈ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ എത്തിക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെയാണ് എക്സിബിഷൻ ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. പ്രിന്റിങ്ങിനും മറ്റുമായി വരുന്ന ചെലവുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷങ്ങളിലേതുപോലെ എല്ലാവരും തുല്യമായി പങ്കിട്ടെടുക്കുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ചിത്രങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങൾ ഇമെയിൽ വഴി നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

- ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ റെസല്യൂഷൻ കുറഞ്ഞത് 1200 പിക്സൽ (വെർട്ടിക്കൽ/ഹൊറിസോണ്ടൽ) എങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. 18×12 ഇഞ്ച് സൈസിൽ സെറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് അയക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വളരെ നന്നായിരിക്കും.
- സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ വാട്ടർമാർക്കോ പേരോ മറ്റ് അടയാളങ്ങളോ രേഖപ്പെടുത്താൻ പാടില്ല.
- ഓരോ ചിത്രത്തിനും അനുയോജ്യമായ തലക്കെട്ടോ അടിക്കുറിപ്പോ നൽകണം. കൂടാതെ, അത് എവിടെനിന്നാണ് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചത് എന്ന വിവരവും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തണം.

Kanappadavukal 3.0 2026 Edition Photo Exhibition: Call for Entries
Spearheaded by the Kole Birders Collective, the third edition of the ‘Kanappadavukal’ photo exhibition is being organized at the Thrissur Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery. The exhibition interweaves the birds, other biodiversity, and the ecosystem of the Kole wetlands, a Ramsar site in Kerala. We invite your photographs for this event. Any images related to the Kole wetlands (birds, other wildlife, landscapes, agriculture, macro, etc.) can be submitted.
This time, we intend to curate the exhibition around the theme of ‘Migration’.

Please ensure you submit only your best photographs. Kindly avoid submitting images that were sent for previous editions. The last date for submitting photographs is April 14, 2026.
Selected photographs will be curated and printed for the exhibition. In addition to the main showcase at the Thrissur Art Gallery, this initiative aims to take these images to schools and other public events upon request. We hope to share the expenses for printing and other related costs equally among ourselves, just as we did in previous years. Information regarding your selected photographs will be communicated via email.
These photographs are shared with the Kole Birders Collective under the Creative Commons Attribution License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/deed.en). Consequently, these images will be used in our future campaigns, posters, educational materials, and on our website, with due credit provided to the contributor.

All submitted photographs must be in JPG format.

The resolution of the images should be at least 1200 pixels (vertical or horizontal). It would be highly appreciated if the images are formatted to an 18×12 inch size.

Submitted photographs must not contain watermarks, names, or any other identifying marks.

Each photograph must be accompanied by an appropriate title or caption, along with the location where it was captured.

The ‘Kole Birders Collective’ will have the liberty to use the submitted photographs under the Creative Commons license. However, the copyright remains entirely vested with the photographer. If anyone illegally uses the images without attribution in violation of copyright terms in the future, the photographer is free to pursue appropriate legal action. The collective will not be held responsible for such incidents. The collective, with the assistance of volunteers, is merely providing a platform for your best photographs to be utilized for environmental conservation and education.
